Any Good Ideas For a Musical Choice for a Middle School?

Question:I'm out of ideas for plays to direct in the middle school I work in. I was thinking Bye Bye Birdie but I think the music might be slightly complicated. Any suggestions?

-Little Shop of Horrors
-Honk!
-Will Roger's Follies
-Barnum
-Into The Woods (jr. version maybe)

Choose a less popular show but something appropriate. But I think Bye Bye Birdie is a wonderful show and perfect for a middle school though.

my cousins middle school did sweeny todd, like the movie with johnny depp thats coming out. it was really good, and because its now a johnny depp movie you would get a lot of people wanting to see it!

umm.. i wouldnt do bye bye birdie, i saw the movie, and well, its not really all that interesting, but grease is always a huge hit, if you want to do an old time musical thing.

Hairspray, Music Man, Alice in Wonderland, Annie, Sleeping Walter, Honk, Midsummer's Night Dream, Once On This Island

it all depends how many are in the cast

i think Honk would be a great musical for middle schoolers. seussical the musical is also something that is fun and shouldn't be too difficult...
