Who agrees that Daniel Craig makes a crap Bond?

I don't know about his acting, but he's not very believable as Bond. I think it was a mistake not to use Pierce Brosnan again, as to me he IS the perfect Bond.

You must be blinkered he is an absolutely brilliant actor did you not see him my 'Friends from the North' I think though that he needs to be more subtle in his approach but the way he portrayed in his first role as bond was the remit given to him by the producers

Did you know that Ian Fleming intended James Bond to be potrayed the way Daniel Craig played the part.

Sean Connery just loved himself so much it was sickening...same as he does now.

Disagree totally! I think he is the best Bond ever! And has been great in a lot of other films.
I may be an amateur judge of acting skills, but I can't see how his are inferior to any of the previous Bonds.
Besides you need to remember that Casino Royale was the birth of Bond; the wily smoothness and surreptitious charm comes later!
I DO have to admit I am biased - it is so rare for me to find any actor sexy and exciting. Many of them seem so, but only in a particular role, so it is their portrayal of the character that is sexy and exciting. See them in another role, and the bubble bursts.
Daniel Craig brings a very real manly presence to every role he plays.

I so totally agree. And it looks like he hasnt been signed up to do anymore as he already has another film out and not a bond one.
The only bond for me will always been Sean Conner.

I think he's a great Bond! If you can get past the "Sean Connery is the best Bond there'll ever be"-mind set, you might be able to enjoy Casino Royale. I hope he settles into the role for a few more movies.

At least be thankful Craig is a tad better than Linda Thornson on the Avengers!
