I need an audition song but..?

Question:I'm an alto, and not muuch of a singer. I'm relying more on my dancing to get me into the show than my singing. I'm not horrible, but not as good in my chest voice than in my head voice.

Does anyone know of any songs that are easy on the chest voice that I can't screw up? AKA nothing too high.
I'm really flipping out because not everyone is making it into the show this year, like last year, so I actually have to attempt to do good on the singing.

try www.stageagent.com. on the top bar, click resources. there are many songs u can choose from that are sorted by vocal range, age, gender, type, etc. good luck!

I think you should sing "part of their world" from the little mermaid.....it's a simple song but it helps accentuate how you can express moods while singing and and disney movie is usually a play somewhere, so it would be a classic approach to it...goodluck on your audition!!!
