NO!
They are NOT a real company, I kept getting e-mails from them also. (still do)

They go around websites taking "free casting calls" for acting and modelling jobs that pay nothing, and they use those to lure you into believing they are legitimate.

The company has no telephone number listed, and the address is a postal box, which means they have no office.

HERE ARE SOME CONSUMER REPORTS!!!:

my name is sandra and i am one of whom was rip-off by instantcast.i called them and they told me that they were giving me my money back.they said that all i have to do is fill out the form that they emailed me and fax it off and i did,but i haven't gotten my refund back yet.the first time they said that they didn't recieve it the first time so i faxed it again and i still haven't gotten it back yet.so if there is anyone out there that can help me please do.thank you.

I signed up on April 21st. I was given an email reply that I would have my login information within 24 hours. This came LATE the next day. One day gone from the trial period already without having had access to the information. When I got the logins I went to the site and realized this is not for me. SO I started the cancelation process. I filled out what I needed to online and then the last page said I needed to call. So I did.

I got an automated recording that said they were closed and to please call back Mon-Fri. So I did that. Gee guess what? I call back and to cancel it is all automated. There was no reason to have to wait until Monday to call. They could have canceled it. Oh yea wait a minute there sure was a reason this put me past my trial period!!!!!!!!!!!! So now I am stuck with a charge of 64.87 for something that I NEVER EVER USED tried to cancel now I can't even get an email to them. It bounces back. I do have this information though......I have filed with the NY BBB and the Attorney General we will see if anything happens.

This company has been stealing money from me. Please dont give your bank account info to them. I signed a paper that I cancelled their service and I still have not seen any money back and now they owe me 180 dollars.

I signed up for a free trial to instantcast.com on 16 September 2005. It was to be a 14-day trial period free of charge. I provided my credit card info to the website for 'verification'.

Instantcast.com was supposed to send me an e-mail with log-in information to access their website. However, I never received this e-mail or any e-mail with a confirmation of sorts. These people are sneaky, too, because you can't contact them through their website. There's no phone number or e-mail address or physical address. And you have to log in to access practically everything, so how was I supposed to do this without any log-in info??

So, two weeks later, I see a charge on my credit card statement for $51.87. According to the form they make you fill out, if you continue with the service, they charge you $3.99 a week quarterly=$51.87. I, on the other hand, did not intend to continue with the service after the free trial, but since they never contacted me via e-mail as stated (and you can't contact them via the site anyways as a non-member), they charged my card anyways.

I usually know better than to sign up for these scams, but we all make mistakes. I'm currently in the process of attempting to obtain a refund.

I'll keep you posted!

If you keep getting spam, I would beware.

Chances are, no. Generally you need to scout out the agents and send them your headshots, resume, etc. Also, if they ask for any money for representation, RUN! This is a scam that many companies use. The only real representation will be paid from the production company, take their cut, and give you your money, ie. they only get paid if they get you work.

I would stay away from Instant Cast, as well as TooSpoiled.com, and One Source Talent...

Good luck :)

NO. And they are called Talent Agencies.
