Question:Yes, a good manager should have contacts and be able to get you a good agent. You should shoot for an agent first. They are a necessity and they take 10%. Managers take 10-15%, 15% being more the norm. Why give out 25% of your gross income when you can give 10% to the agent.

FYI a manager is something different from an agent....
ur manager can tell u to gain or lose weight change hair and etc

while an agent can get u auditons and if u get the gig/job they get a certain percentage of what u make on that gig/job
