What should I do with my 40 page script?

Question:It's to long for a short film, and to short for a feature ...is the a category for a 40 page script ... or do I have to decide to either extend it or reduce it ... Please respond to that and also tell me what you would do if you were me in this situation..thanks

It sounds like it may work for a one act on stage.

Im sure you could add plenty of stage actions and lighting cues and sound cues to turn it into a lovely one act.

Have your actors preform it and see how you like it, it may even inspire you to add more. You never know. :o)

Well, a lot of great films were plays first. You have better chances of getting it published and noticed right off the bat thanks to a thing called the Humanna Festival which is basically a contest for new plays to be introduced. I would adapt it into a play format and go from there.

BUT you already answered your own question...either extend it or reduce it.

it's almost a 1 hour tv show

if its worth while they'll do something to extend it.
