Question:Eugen Ionescu is a famous French playwriter of Rumanian origin, lived in th 20th Century, a prominent representative of the "absurd theater", this play being one of his most famous ones. In this play of two acts, two characters are waiting for a third one who never comes.

Waiting for Godot was written by Samuel Beckett. I think you can read it at this link:

You're right about who Eugene Ionesco (to use the Anglicized spelling) is, except that he didn't write WAITING FOR GODOT. It was authored by Irish playwright Samuel Beckett. Beckett's work is also classified as Theatre of the Absurd per Martin Esslin's book by that name.

The play isn't in the public domain, so it can't legally be posted free online.

Ionesco is probably best known for his absurd political play, RHINOCEROS, though THE LESSON and THE CHAIRS are other great early works. These are from the 1950s--also not public domain.

A decent library should have plays by both writers.
