Position:Home>Theater & Acting> Having problems with my lines, help?

Question:I memorized my lines all good and well so I don't have any concern about that area. The problem I am having is when to say my lines. I have had some rehearsals already and I am always saying my lines a little late after the other actor is done with their lines. What to do? Should I go ahead and memorize the other person's lines also? The only problem with that is I have already so much to remember. Please help?

1 thing i like yo do is memerize the word before wut you say so u know what to look for as they read there lines. also knowing what there saying helps. look over it dont memerize. its to much. go easy ull do fine.

If it's late timing, try saying your lines a smidge early. Then it might end up being on time. Good luck!

the answer is pretty simple. all you have to do is remember your que. you don't need to remember the other person's lines but just look at the last few words they say and remember that your part comes next. i think the reason u come in a little late is because you're not sure when to start and are waiting for the other person to finish so that the silence can tell you. just think of the act as a conversation and talk how ever you would in that.
