I want to act, where should I audition?

Question:I am a guy who loves to sing and act. I live in Wisconsin about 30 min away from Milwaukee, I want to get an acting job where I can make some money for my family. I am 14 years old and in 10th grade. Can anyone help me, or know of any good places to go, also is there places on the internet that I can sign up for free? Any help sooooooon would be very much appreciated! Thanks

I feel the same way too! except for II want to act cuz its my passion but anyway...

To audition for t.v:

I advise you to get experience first.
Do school plays or at a community theatre. Take acting classes too. So what I’m saying is get lots of experience. Then you have to get a good headshot which is like $250+.

And don’t try to jump in and send your info. To a L.A talent agency. Look up talent agencies in your area and start from there. Hope that helped.

Well, making money in the business is difficult, but if you can find audition opportunities in the paper or at a local theater that's a great place to start. Wow you're really young for 10th grade.

Try going to a stage west! They let you try out and they put you where they think your best!

Never settle. Get a talent agent, but make sure its a good one. Your goign to neeed head shots, and some kind of personal experience, like town theater, or something that doesnt really invole school. And your going to have to keep pressing on until you get something. 14 in 10 th grade! wow.!
