well, for a duet (if possible) try Wicked's "What is this Feeling." Otherwise, a solo would be "I Could Have Dance All Night," from My Fair Lady or even a High School Musical solo. However, pop songs are not usually a good choice for an audition, but it all depends on whether or not the director enjoys that genre of music. Also, sometimes the director or asst. director will have a certain song from the play to be audition for; that way they can have a fairly accurate based choosing on the actors.
