do the things just said, but when you read through them, write down as well the character's relation to what he's thinking about. say you're Romeo, and are delivering a monologue to Juliet. you could either simply memorize and sound terrible, or you could be a great actor, and in detail focus on the character's relation with Juliet. he has found a new (and though he knows it not) puppy love, to talk to whom he is excited and defying his authority, trying to impress Juliet with his extensive language. do that, and more, and you'll be the BEST actor in your group. but be humble, and consider yourself less than what you might be to others. a hard worker.

think of the line in the story

they say some people learn easier by setting things to music. Maybe try finding a tune you could sing them to.

it depends on what type of learner you are. if your an auditory learner than you should say them to yourself. if your a visual learner then you should write them down over and over agein.

Usually I just write my "cue lines" and then my lines, highlight my lines, and learn from there. Usually if you really know the story line, you can remember YOUR lines. Make sure you know what is going on around you......and know your blocking too. Write over and over, and see if that helps. HOPE THIS HELPS!!

Practice in front a mirrior or a friend who got a part with you. That's what I did for my lines. I am not famous, I just did a play last year. It's a great experience working with the cast! And i have no idea on the last one.

i usually read through the script just before i go to sleep for a few nights so i really know the storyline of the section i'm trying to learn. then i take an index card and move it slowly down the page reading other people's lines. when i read my cue line i have to say my line... after that i keep going. any pages where i forgot my cue line or didnt say hte complete line i mark as i go and then i go back and go over it again after i've finished the section.

and i have no idea for the other one

Read your lines into a tape recorder or digital recorder and listen to them over and over. Even listen to the lines while going to sleep. After 3 to 4 days of this then begin to get off book by saying your lines out loud and preferably into a mirror so that you can work on your facial expressions at the same time.
