You have to start getting the correct information. Agents don't cost you money up front. They get a 10% commision AFTER you actually do the job. Once you have obtained an agent ( http://www.actingcareerstartup.com/find_... ) they call you for the audition. You go to the audition. If the client for whom you auditioned likes you, you either get called back by the casting director for a second/third audition and maybe put on hold, which means you are among the finalists. Then, if you actually get chosen, you do the job, the client pays the agent and the agent gives you 90% of what ever the pay was for that job. So if the pay for a job was $1,000, you get $900. That's the way it works.
There are agencies who charge you to represent you, but you should stay away from them.
Inform yourself and keep your parents involved and encourage them to get informed.
I have put together a lot of information for you. Have a look at it: http://www.actingcareerstartup.com/teen_...

Good luck!

You can be your own agent. Some stars do just that.

cause some people can do bookings by themselves. and have actual talent

A legitimate agency will not charge upfront. They will simply take 10-15% of money you receive from jobs you get.

it's got nothing to do with talent and everything to do with $$$

Paris proved that one!
