Actingggg?

Question:I want to become a famous actress.. I've been in some plays, and I'm going to start my acting lessons in a few months... But after all of that, and i get good (if i do) where should i go? I want to be professional.. but do it because i love acting, not because i want the fame...
Any recomendations? i know i need an agent.. and all...

This subject is discussed about a million times a week on this site. First off, dear, not many people become famous anythings, let alone actors or actresses. First, you say you want to be a famous actress, then you say you love acting and you aren't doing it for the dame. Which is it? I suggest you join community theater and try out for plays in school. This idea that you need an agent is so naive because dear, agents onlyw ork with the super talented and you usually get one through referrals. They don't come knocking on your door and you have to be of legal age for them to deal with you. Show business is a very closed corporation and you generally need connections to get your foot int he door. For instance, if your mother or father is in the business, youw ill have a much easier time of it. This is how the little no talent daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus got to be Hannah Montana. She is really low on talent but her marginally famous father got her in. It works this way and if you research it, you will find that nehind most younger actors and actresses, there is a parent in show business. Again, go the school play and community theater route. And remember that most people who dream of acting, etc., end up waiting tables their whole lives. The business is a brutal one and most actor/actress wannabes fall by the wayside. And forget all the nonsense about getting professional photos taken. At your stage it would be a total waste of money! Get your education. That is the most important thing you can do at this point.

Do I think I have enough experience
Do I need an agent now?
Do my parents support me 100%

after that look up on google acting agencies in or near your area. OOH also you should get a good quality headshot which is like $250+. Hope that helped!

first you say you want to be famous and then you say you dont care about the fame. There is only one thing you can do and that is to get your parents to support your idea of becoming an actress and willing to work at that with you. They will have to find you an agent, and pay for lessons and look for auditions for you. but if you are not in LA there are no auditions for Disney Channel.

thats what all you tweens and teens want to be FAMOUS actress and acters not because most of you like it, because you want to be famous! It's not all about the red carpet and the fam, it's hard work (its a job!) so for gosh sakes grow up plz.....
