I want to get into acting??

Question:well i've NEVER been involved in anything big so pretty clueless but i nearly always got the lead role in my school plays so i think i have some sort of talent, right?

what's the easiest way to get into acting? any help is much appreciated. thankss.

I have worked in the entertainment industry for over 20 years and have accumulated a wealth of knowledge. When I started out, I didn't have much information and spent countless weeks, months and even years learning the ropes by trial and error. I know how valuable information and resources are to people who are starting out from scratch. So I recently decided to use some of my spare time to create a blog with casting notices, audition information, information on getting an agent, demo-reels, resumes, etc. There are far too many scam artists out there who take advantage of those actors who are trying to make their dreams come true. The information and casting notices I provide are totally free and legitimate. Hopefully I can save some people a few bucks and a lot of footwork.

i joined a modeling agentcy ( you have to auditon ) if they ask for money say NO bc it is a scam and they just want there money and they wont get u any jobs

you definatley have talant. I just got back from a lead in a play myself. The best thing to do is find out what typeof acting. Movies, Plays, Broadway? Once you find out, look into schools that are good for the type you want to do. Until then, join the closest acting group or theater club.

To audition for t.v:

I advise you to get experience first.
Do school plays or at a community theatre. Take acting classes too. So what I’m saying is get lots of experience. Then you have to get a good headshot which is like $250+.

And don’t try to jump in and send your info. To a L.A talent agency. Look up talent agencies in your area and start from there. Hope that helped.
