YES!! I would definitely recommend this play. Its funny, the songs are beautiful and catchy, the story is brilliantly written....a perfect twist to the classic"wizard of oz". I will never watch that movie and look at it the same way again. It is on the top of my list of favorite plays.

yes it was amazing! see Lion King too cuz its almost better than wicked.

I havn't seen it

It's really good; I'm not really a fan of Wizard of Oz, I mean, it's cool and all, but I was REALLY impressed with the singing and lighting, etc.

They really got some good singers; not some shi**y American Idol rejects lol. No offense to Idol fans out there, Chris Daughtry was the real idol, but we all know that.

No, I haven't...

But here are some interesting reviews (much more valuable than some individual's personal subjective unprofessional answer, shouting "OMG, I LOVELOVELOVELOVE IT!!!" without giving any specific objective description on the quality of the play itself - <sigh>):

no, i love the music. i tried reading the book though and i couldn't get through it (and i read all the time!). i was kinda disappointed, it just wasn't that exciting to me.

No, But I want to see it

Nope. I work part-time in front of the Gershwin Theatre. I should see it once =S

OMG I absolutely LOVELOVELOVE this play!
Legally Blonde was a good play(although I only saw it on TV) but it isnt really similar 2 wicked, but its still good!
Hope I helped!

basketball

I LOVE that play, i saw it 3 times, and I thought it was the best one I have ever seen (and i have seen a lot of musicals) a play that is sorta/kinda/not really like wicked is "cats" its not like wicked, but it has a mood like wicked. Then again, its hard to make a musical like that one!

nope

yes, it was amazing! ;]

I'm starting to wonder if I'm the only person who doesn't like Wicked. I've seen it done professionally and I'm not very impressed with the music, however beautifully sung. The songs just don't stand out to me. And I really didn't like that annoying Popular song. The production design and acting were great but when I see a musical I want to be blown away by the music and I just wasn't in this case.
