Are there any good guy ballads that you know of?

Question:i need to find a ballad to audtion with and i really dont know the defintion of a ballad it would be greatly apprectiated if any of you could give me your favorite ballad. but it has to be a good baritone song. AHHH please help! x x

A ballad is a song that tells a story. Some example of a ballad that you may know are Scarborough Fair, Hey Jude, Hotel California, and Space Oddity.

Are you sure it has to be a ballad though? What are you auditioning for, exactly?

A ballad is simply a slow song. Most auditions refer to you performing an "up-tempo and a ballad," usually only 16 bars of each.
