Question:My high school does two shoes a year, and right now we're looking into what show to do in the spring. The show is usually a medium size production. We would like a cast of 10-20. More girls try out so a primarily female cast would be better. Any ideas because we are out. We were thinking of a drama, but we do not want a musical. Any ideas or suggestions. If this helps at all, we did "A doll's house" last year for our spring show

i think you should do a play about a lion a witch and a wardrobe. id watch that

I have written a new play called "Postings from an On-Line Messiah" Interested?

you should do a spring break type of show for it.

high school musical?
in highschool I did plays like Peter Pan, Sleeping Beauty, Alky, and there was another one I can't remember it's name... the school also put on jake's woman, charlie brown, cinderella, and few other small production ones.

You could check out "The Little Foxes," but that may have too many male roles for your needs.

See if you can find a play called "Vrooooom! A NASComedy." It has an all-female cast portraying men's parts.

How about "12 Angry Women"?

Sue Glover's plays have mostly female casts, though the total cast size may be too small for you.

You could write your own (modernized?) adaptation of Cinderella.

Good luck!
