Relax. Take a deep breath. And do it right before you audition.

I've done TKAM twice, the last time just a couple of months ago so I'm fresh with the script.

Here are some characteristics for you: she's bright, tomboyish, curious, matter-of-fact. Her and her brother Jem thank the world of their father. She loves hanging around with her brother but he's getting older now where he doesn't like her around as much. The housekeeper/cook Calpurnia annoys her, always making her do the right thing, clean up, wear girly clothes.

It's a huge role and requires a young actress that the director feels he can trust. Be as professional as possible and take any direction that he may give you.

Above all - have fun! If they pass on you for this role, go audition for another and another and another.
