Ideas for high school comedy?

Question:our drama class wants to put on a comedy spoof. {{if you dont know what that is ... it is like scary movie...where you make fun of stuff like movies}}

Well, you obviously have to spoof something that everyone can relate to at your school or in the general public of your school. Start local. Make fun of High School the musical but turn it into everything dealing with your school and town that you live in. You could change all the clubs the sports and names to relate to your schools sports clubs etc..

The point of a spoof is to make fun of something that people can relate to and find humor in. So you have to keep your audience in mind otherwise they aren't going to get it or think it is funny.

I would recommend watching scary movie (any of them are fine)

The best option would be to make fun of scream- wear that creepy costume. A girl is saying she's gonna do a dramatic reading. on one side or in the back stands a guy and behind him is the scream dude. No one else pays attention and she's the only one seeing him being murdered. And she's crying and telling everyone to go help him. Everyone thinks this is her dramatic reading. I just thought that was so funny. And she's crying backstage and telling everyone and then somone calls her name saying she's the winner and she goes: Forget about _______(insert male name here). Give me the bouquet!!!
