Question:tell me why

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: tell me why

I have only read some of Shakepeares works as an adult who read them purely to help my children doing Secondary College exams on them. That way they could bounce ideas off me and it could give them my thoughts. At first I wondered 'what the hell is he on about' but then I discovered a site called no fear shakespeare and that showed the text in plain language that I could understand and now I can understand the original and what he is getting at.
Most of his works were very sexual and the writing had double meanings.
I really like Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth and can even now quote some of the passaged off the top of my head.
He was very modern in his thinking for the time and i look forward to reading more of his work

I don't like him. Last time we went bowling there was only one 8 pound ball left and he took it and would not let me use it. Then he got drunk and started talking all weird like when I was mad that he was winning he said "the lady doth protest too much" and when they threw him out for disorderly conduct he just said "parting is such sweet sorrow" and left me to pay for the effing pizza and a cab home. He is a first hand jerk.

Is the wealth of nation.Fine narration of drama, enjoyable as experienced in life even at this time of 21 st century the artistic beauty of his literature is so fantastic
We couldn't keep the text once taken for reading out of hands till its end with out joy ,sorrow, happiness laughter as the case may be.
What else to be added further !!!

I like ,,,,that is a lot to be learned for the words within

I like Shakespeare.
Gosh, that sounds so tame.
I like the way he invented words ( he and Dr. Seuss, y'know?) to convey things where there wasn't a word to his liking.
Of course, the way he knew his psychology and how to portray a person so that you could get a good hard look at what made them tick.( Hah, Freud)
And the way his theatrical pacing went, just the right blend of tension/relaxation. ( Hitchcock learned a lot from him)
I saw my first play when I was 9. ( One of our neighbors' girls was in a school play, and she was my look-up-to, big sister type person) My mom never pushed the idea, but she did have 2 volumes of Shakespeare plays, and allowed me to be the motor to have a family circle read aloud. We went through a lot of the comedies by the time I turned 11...
My girls now participate in their school drama clubs, and once they get people past the initial reluctance, share the fun. I hope the circle keeps widening.

And you, mel? Do't disappoint me, now!
