If Your talent for mimicry was not seen by Your interviewer as an asset to his company,then I have to say displaying this talent was a waste of Your and His time.
Even so,I doubt that was the reason You were
not offered the position.

Hi, first of all your question is not giving the full idea of the situation. Like what exactly was the job profile you were offered for and how much was the impact of your talent/hobby on that job profile. The reason may be different for not selecting you. There may be some mismatch of their requirement and your talent. Dont feel that its defeat of ur talent. And search for the job of your interest. Best of Luck.........!
