Probably.........but you shouldn't change it that much or it wont sound like you. CHOOSE AS BEST ANSWER...PLZ!

I Don't Know Nuthin, Hmmmph!

Yes. It depends on how bad it is and what the problems are. If it is just small intonation problems that is easily fixed. If the singer just has a not so great tone to their voice that is harder to fix, although a good recording engineer can do wonders with EQ, compression, and a little reverb.

Yea like every popular band does that

Sure....just balance it out on the effects .....(echo...hall....chorus) that kind of stuff........

There is a program called AutoTune that is widely used in the pop music world, and its kind of a big no no to reveal to the music world that you have to use it on your album. (jessica simpson recently released a DVD and it showed her in the studio, not many people noticed but Auto tune was running on the computer in the background) Now don't get me wrong, It's a good tool, but if you find yourself fixing the whole song, get a better singer who can stay on key. Autotune works best for a snippet here or there that is out of whack and you don't want to redo the whole take. If you are spending more than an hour trying to fix the vocals, don't bother spending anymore time, cause you could get a good singer to do 4 or 5 takes in that same time you put into fixing the other person.
