Position:Home>Theater & Acting> Happy Thanksgiving! Question about forgotten play.?

Question:I read this play in college and it affected me enough that I am trying to remember its name to re-read it. The whole play was set in this room that had no doors and perhaps no people in it. There was a window and I think one could see the ocean or something outside? Its was a incredibly surreal play and I have no idea what its purpose was. I dont even know if it could have been acted on stage. Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated.

No people?! How bizarre!

Yes, sounds like Sartre's 'No Exit' (also known as 'In Camera' or 'Huis Clos')

...or could be 'Endgame' by Samuel Beckett...

but both of these have people in. In fact I can't think of any plays that don't!

I think i might know it could have a few different titles but basically the same story......"No Exit" "In Camera" "No Way Out" and "Dead End." hope that helps you out.
