Hey, I’m an ActorTrack user and I couldn’t be happier. It doesn’t matter how often I get out to audition because I’m always out there meeting people in the biz, going to screenings, looking for people who are casting projects. I’m always using the contacts area to keep in touch with these people. I know you didn’t mention this but I love, love, love, love keeping track of my headshots and wardrobe as this takes out so much stress when I am going out to auditions and helps me to be honest with really knowing that I look like my headshots, you know? Actortrack totally has a way to keep track of my classes, I just go into the calendar – double-click on the date and select “Class” or “Workshop” then I print out that page and bring it with me to class and write down like how it went, who I worked with, what my next assignment is, etc. I keep all of these notes in a folder with my scene work and sides. And when I come home I go back to that class or workshop and hit the “add expense” area and enter in all the expenses for that one class like the cost the parking, if I had to buy any supplies, etc. Actortrack allows me to do all of that.

Just a little tip, the guys at actortrack are super cool as I finally got to meet them face to face at a seminar they were doing here in LA. I totally walked away with so much info and felt so positive.

If anyone besides you reads this go to actortracktrial.com and check it out for yourself – you’ll be amazed at all the cool things you can keep track of that help you feel better about your career. And since we always seem to think we don’t work enough maybe this program will help you see other things that you can really do to help be less stressed out and keep on moving forward instead of sitting still.

Oh, and get on their actornation list , it’s free and there are some great user spotlights of other actors who are working hard and that just goes to show that doing all this “business stuff” is important. www.actornation.com

I've seen ActorTrack and it seems like a competent organizer, providing you take the time to truly use it. Just keep in mind it isn't a miracle tool, just a well done pre-made organizer that may or may not help you depending on how you use it. My impression is that the busier you are with gosees, auditions, etc, the more important the organizer becomes. If you're only sent out once or twice a month or quater...make up your own. Sorry not familiar with the other product.
