The first real time i was on stage was probably for dancing, and it's a little rush that i get, probably different, than what you got. Bu for me, the music is blaring and me and a group of girls are all on stage, ready to perform for a huge audience.
my point is, im obviously nervous, but i know my routine. like i have it memorized from always practicing it. you know?
I did feel stupid because i didn't know how i would look to the audience, and i didn't know whatmy facial expression would be, but also, for dancing you really can't see the crowd, cause you have all these bg lights shining on you, and blocking you from seeing them. Just a bunch of black room is what i see. anyways! yeah, i hope this helped the answer you were loooking for.

Yes, I felt fine.

First time I was on stage it was surreal. I was 9. Now being on stage is like being at home for me.

The first time I was on stage was for an audition when I was 7 and I felt so nervous that I almost forgot a part of the song that I had prepared. I also was shaking. I'm still that wasy. I compete with my school and I always freak out and start shaking right before I go on stage, so it's normal and someone hasn't experienced that when onstage, they have got to be born to be onstage, but I've never met anyone like that though.

I have definitely had this experience. The first time I ever walked on stage for a school production my heart rate went to levels I didn't think possible. But a good stage actor learns to feed off of this fear, to love it. And I have.

yup i was in a play ( "Aladdin" ) for my middle school a few years back...the first few times i was nervous but...i got used to it and was fine. sorry it was so bad...hope next time you will have a better experience.

I was nearly on stage... in a drama class, we were preparing for a dreadful version of Tom's Sawyer, and I was to be Injun Joe. The script was absolutely terrible, and this was because every scene was written by one student. It was disjointed, and most of it was bland and awful. Fortunately, the semester was over before we could hope to finish and we never had to perform it.

Yes I have, and the first time i was so nervous, i remembered that once i was going to sing on a stage and that day i was so so so nervous and when i got on stage the music started and i forgot the lyric you don't know i felt so so so down and i didn't know what to do 'cause i totally forgot and i just started the song with other lyric that i invented in that moment and that saved me a little bit but later i didn't want to sing anymore but i did it again and don't feel the same way anymore i got over it...
