Does anyone else sit around and play a musical instrument when they are sad?

I play my Guitar. I like mostly gospel or OLD style country. I do some sad songs,too.

i do, actually. i play my flute for hours on end if i am depressed. i just go up to my room, sit on my bed, and play improv tunes.

I play my violin any time, but it especially helps me when I'm sad or depressed.
