It doesn't cost much at all to act locally, in your school, church, or community theatre. That is where you start, not with your own show like Miley Cyrus (who had a famous father, and travel was not a problem).

And you cannot do ANYTHING without your parent's permission and support until you are over 18. They will need to do everything, from driving you to auditions and rehearsal, to finding an agent. So you need to get your mother on your side.

You also have to be realistic, if you live in a place where there's almost no professional acting or modeling work to be had. Because you'd have to travel to where the job is in order to even audition.

Honey, if you really want to be an actress, and you can see yourself doing that for the rest of your life, you can do it! Just start out by auditioning for school plays or other plays in your community. Also, get a job and save up the money so that you will have enough to audition for the big lead on something you really want. Then, you never know, you could be the next Mandy Moore! Or whoever you want to be like.
