Im playing grace ferrell in the play Annie?

Question:does anyone know if "we got annie" is in the actual musical? i know its in the movie but idk if its in the play and im really curious if i get to sing it or not. some one who knows the play please answer!.. not some moochers looking for an easy point.

No, it's not in the original stage musical. There is a song in the musical called, simply "Annie" (I believe "We Got Annie" replaced that for the film). "Annie" the song is sung by Grace and Drake, so if your version includes that song, you still get a song in Act 2. I say "if" only because the song list at MTI (that holds the rights) doesn't list "Annie." This could be a misprint, though (see my sources). In my personal experience, I have NEVER seen a full performance of the musical that did NOT include the song "Annie." I hope this helps.

I have seen a production in which they added "We Got Annie," but it wasn't an authorized change. It's probably unlikely that your production will include it.

No, I looked on wikipedia. I couldn't remember either, but it was added for the film. Sorry. It's still an awesome role.
