Typing is not the same as speaking - it uses a different part of the brain.
Don't just read it to yourself, either. Even if you're just speaking it softly, you need to mouthe the words.
I don't know if subliminals will work but couldn't hurt, I suppose.
Learn a paragraph at a time. And even divide that into bite-sized pieces, not trying to learn the whole thing at once.
Punch up the words by saying them like what they sound like -there are lots of ways to say "cold" or "vicious."
Maybe even learn the last paragraph first and work backwards.
Keep at it and you will learn your speech, and be very pleased with the results.

when i have to memorize something, i just listen to music lightly in the background. like some jazz, and read it aloud, over and over. i wouldnt speed it up either.

good luck!

Divide the speech into little parts and memorize each one seperatly. Keep reading it over and over and over again. You should pick it up in no time.

This should help you. It's about how to memorize a monologue: http://www.actingcareerstartup.com/memor...

dude i got the same problem i would say learn a page every 3 hours stop say it to yourself for 30 min and see where you made any mistakes
continue doing this until eventually you will learn it. before you go to bed tonight record and play it back to yourself
it would also be good if you get the feeling of the person's speech
pretend your explaining somthing to a friend
good luck tommorrow
