Position:Home>Theater & Acting> Tin whistle on stage microphone?

Question:Okay, so we are putting a band together, and one of the instraments is a tin whistle. Its an Irish band you understand. OOOoo I know were not Irish, but I drink like I'm Irish! I can puke green with the best of em! Problem is, the Tin Whistle is too damn quiet on stage with all the other guitars with amps, and drums etc... What the heck do we do? Dynamic mic? Vocal mic? or is there a tin whistle out there with a pick up on it? Little help?

Any vocal mic can suffice. Play into the mic from the fipple, not the end of the whistle. The fipple is the little opening on the top of the whistle. Your fingering alters its pitch.

Flute and Recorder are mic'ed the same way.
