I need of list of organizations where I can study acting, help?

Question:I'm looking at auditioning for someplace like The Actor'd Studio, but I'd like to know if there are any other places where a lot of famous actors have studied? Can someone give me a list so I can look them up and see what they are about?

The 'trade papers' are always full of ads for acting schools, conservatories, etc. It depends on where you live of course, but BACKSTAGE and VARIETY are two of the oldest. If you look at a copy of the AMERICAN THEATRE magazine, it has tons of listings too.
