I know what you mean. Most of the big auditions are for 13-17 or 18+. For now do plays in theatre and join choirs and stuff. It will look good on your resume. I should have done that instead of daydreaming of acting. If i could redo things, I would have definitely done theatre so there would be more to put on my resome and definitely take classes. Take juggling, dancing, singing, acting, anthing that sets you apart from other actors. And have fun along the way!

Get into some acting classes. Perform in school, church, community plays if you can. Get involved as much as possible. If you can, try to get an agent.

But I think if you are just planning on being "discovered" for sake of being discovered, you won`t get far. You have to love acting and all the wonderful and horrible things that come with it. All the Brad Pitt`s and Sally Field`s you see arent famous because they just wanted to be famous, they`re famous for doing something they love and being good at it.

Have you ever heard of an actress named Anna Sophia Robbs? When she was little, she loved acting so much, it hurt! One day she asked her mom if she could have an agent, and she said yes. Her agent got her hooked up and stuff, and I think she's on her way. I don't know. Personnally I'm not a big fan, but I use her as an inspiration, because I would love to be in a movie. Not to be famous. Actually, just to be able to watch me acting over and over again on the DVD. I'm 14. :) hope I helped!
