Question:when there is a new movie to audition for? i would love to try out for one, but i dont know how in the world people know when there is a new movie to try out for. how??

You would need an agent. The agent is contacted by casting directors to fill roles. The agent would submit your picture (if you fit the description of the character). You would be called in to read for the part if the director likes your photo and resume.

you have to know people who know people, then mabey you can talk to the people that talk to the people

well not sure if you're in US, but in Britain membership to Spotlight is really important. It allows a bunch of casting directors to look at a load of actors headshots and contact details. It's supposed to be the best way.

Also and agent helps... and people who know people, who know others... so network and try to get right into the actors community where you live.
