Position:Home>Theater & Acting> Female funny monologues?

Question:I have an audition for "On the Razzle" tomorrow. It's for a high school play, and our teacher said to try and choose a humorous one. I'm hoping to find something from "The House of Blue Leaves" but I"m not having any luck. Does anyone know of any good monologues?

this isnt from a play, but it is super funny if you do it well. i have no clue what it is called or any of that info, but here ya go:

Whoa! Hold it! Stop right there!
Robby asked you to the dance? Robby. As in, my Robby? As in, Robby who I have been in love with since the day I could crawl Robby? That Robby?
What? How could you do this to me? You’re supposed to be my best friend! I don’t even-
Huh, David wants to ask me? David, as in…? Tall, blue eyed, total babe David? Get out! No way! We should totally double date! And-
Mad at you? Of course not! How could I be? You’re my best friend! You and Robby are totally perfect for each other. Seriously. And besides, I’ve been in love with David since the day I could crawl.

Well, you can always try something Miss Hannigan said in "Annie." For example, "Why any kid would wanna be an orphan is beyond me." There's lots of funny lines she says. But if not, just do some research and I'm sure you'll come up with something.

Go with Ashley C's. I loved it!

Something from Much Ado About Nothing would work but I don't know exactly what you're looking for.
