can i just start by saying that you are like lovely for actually going out and doing this for your daughter, there are so many parents that just brush an acting career off as a joke!! so good one!! Well try to get her into acting, singing , and dancing lessons! and get her to do as much stage work as she can , all the experience helps!! maybe one day she will be ready to find and agent but for now practice is what she needs the most

The first thing she needs to do is to act in a few plays - either at school or at the local community theatre group.

For any aspiring actor or actress, the best way to start is theatre. Your daughter must gain expierence in the theatre before going on camera. I realize that she will have heard this a million times but it's a risky buisness. It's hard to know who to trust and you must be connected in many ways. For starters theatre, then move to on camera work and make sure she's always practicing monologues in front of you or her friends. Make sure she understands exactly how much effort and time is needed for this and also how hard it is to begin

Well first off she should probably take some classes. After that she should get some experence in a local theater. She should keep doing plays for a couple years then if she likes the lifestyle then she should get an agent try out for bigger movies.
