Shakespeare's Macbeth. You technically can't even say it in a theater. There are various superstitions about it, but I've been told to either run outside and spin in circles three times or run around the entire theater three times. People refer to it as "The Scottish Play" to avoid saying it.

all i know is don't say good luck say break a leg.

Haha.. that would be Macbeth.

Instead of saying that, you say The Scottish Play!

It's such a silly superstition.

it's funny because so many people who don't believe in superstition, myself included, still will not say the name of that Scottish play in a theatre, let alone on stage. The reason for the superstition is that several people had bad luck or even mysterious illnesses and death in connection with productions of that play. You can say the name of the title character in the context of rehearsal or performance of the play but not at any other time or in any other context. Hope this helps you. And please don't test the curse by saying the title of that play.
