Question:i want to become an actress! i have never wanted anything so badly! How can i do it, and im in the UK! please help, be specific! how can i practice at home?

I would also make sure to take acting classes because they look great on a resume. If you want to be a stage actress, take vocal and dance classes too. If you want to be a film/tv actress, consider maybe auditioning for commercials or something like that. Depending on how seriously involved you want to get, you may even want to get an agent. Although, that can be difficult if you don't have much on your acting resume.

To practice at home you can read monologues, study acting books and/or educational videos. Just remember to have fun and enjoy the whole process of becoming an actress. All the best! :)

Join your local theater troupe. Go to all their auditions. Get good grades and then when you get to college, make theater your major. From there, you will develop the contacts you need to get an agent who will find more auditions for you.

Are you in school? If so, start by auditioning for school performances. Do colleges in the UK offer theater as a major? Look for some local theater companies and talk to the actors - ask for tips, or if you can help out during their stage productions.
