Definitely follow your heart. You'll be the one who has to live with it, not your parents. Do what you love to do and what will make you happy. You won't regret it.

Follow your heart. If you want to act go for it.

If you are going to act, you will also need another profession to pay your rent and buy your food. 90%+ of actors make less than $5,000 a year from the "profession".

Are you related to any of these girls?

I only ask because they joined about the same time you did, and they're asking questions today that are so similar to yours. Soulmates, they must be. One of them even has a father who wants her to be a doctor, dentist, or vet---three professions you've enquired about yourself.

Maybe the three of you should be penpals.

there is nothing you can do about being an actor except to be in the school plays, classes and activities for speech and drama until you are 18 and on your own. Labor laws require the parents of minors to sign their contracts for them,
