My 13 yearold daughter needs the right acting stuff?

Question:Alright so my 13 yearold daughter is into acting I know its a bit late now , but shes done acting lessons before and I'm going to get her into another local acting school , but would it help if she got a casting agent , even though shes only getting local training would that hurt her resume?

Firstly its never too late! There's a 63 yr old man in my theatre school and he is brilliant. As she is only 13 i would be careful with casting agents etc, you don't want her to see it as a job and not a passion at such an early age. I would be inclined to see how she gets on with it until she is around 16. You can still go to auditions with her now so don't worry about her missing her chance or anything like that. One thing she could do would be to pick up an instrument, my principal always says that an actor who can play an instrument is worth their weight in gold. Hope this helps you!

Umm.. You already sked this and said you were 13..... at least I think. Well there is never a "late" time to start acting. Acting lessons, internet tips, friends helping her practice little skits.. All that fun. Just look at the thing i said earlier for your question.
