Position:Home>Theater & Acting> Le Miserables?

Question:I know that's not how you spell it. Anyway- for those of you who've seen it- you have your main dude, who has a daughter, right? And the daughter is in love with this guy, and there's this other girl, who dresses like a boy at some point, who like's him to and (SPOILERS) dies. She sings a song about him or something, close to before she dies, what is it?

Her name is Eponine she has a solo before she dies called "On My Own" it's about Marius. While she dies, she and Marius sing "A Little Fall of Rain" together.

"A Little Fall Of Rain" is a duet sung by Eponine (girl) and Marius (boy) in 'Les Miserables' as Eponine is shot and is about to die in Marius' arms.

"On My Own"

Just to clear it up, it's absolutely A Little Fall of Rain that Eponine sings while dying.

Your main 'dude' is Jean Valjean and his 'daughter' that he takes care of is really Fantine's daughter Cosette that he promised Fantine on her death bed that he would take care of. Cosette when she grows up falls in love with Marius, but Eponine is also in love with him. Marius has just never thought of her that way and when he sees Cosette he immediately falls in love with her and asks 'ponine to help him find out about this girl. Eventually the battle begins and Eponine dresses like a boy so she can make her way to Marius at the barricade just to be with him. He seems real happy to see her but what he asks of her is to take a message to Cosette, so she does as he asks and upon her return to Marius at the barricade, she's fatally shot. Marius holds her until she dies as they sing the song together.

If you're interested at all I'm sure there's a great synopsis out there :-)
