What is the best instrument to play???

Question:Clarinet and saxaphone are, in my opinion, the two best. I play clarinet and am considering switching to sax becuse I want to play in the Jazz Band at my school, in which clarinets are not allowed.

Anyway, back to your question, I really enjoy playing clarinet, and it is an instrument that allows you to play a lot of cool songs that aren't challenging. I don't know much about sax, but I have heard it is a lot of fun.

You'll know the right instrument when you find it. The right instrument will choose you. The right instrument will fill you with joy mingled with challenge. You will hear songs and think "that would be wonderful played with a ..."

Harmonica

It depends on your reason. For a college scholarship? Probably a tuba, maybe a trombone. Anything less popular and hard to come by therefore easier to get money out of the department to go to their school.

If you mean for sound or popularity, any type of saxophone. Maybe the drums because they translate to so many genres of music.

If you prefer classical music I'd go with the cello. Beautiful instrument, beautiful music.

There are two ways to answer this question.
1. Which instrument makes the best sound according to your ears?
2. What instrument can you make the most music with and be the most successful musically at?

You can make more music with a piano because you can make rhythm & lead at the same time, whereas, with a guitar, you have to be VERY accomplished to make such full music.

Also, there's plenty of sheet music & teachers for piano & guitar, but other instruments not as much.

Trombone!!!! it requires a really good ear to hear when it's out of tune... it only takes a flick of the wrist to get it in tune

Guitar, because of the coolness factor and versatility. Carrying around a guitar case makes you groovy.
