Preparing right before you go on doesn't seem to be the best plan. Be prepared a few hours early and then just relax and let things happen. If you mean how to get rid of the butterflies you feel, try to visualize the performance being over and the applause you are getting for a job well done. Imagine it and it will happen. Trust that you are as ready as you ever will be and then have a good time.

Well, I do school plays and what I do is I don't think about whoever is watching me, and I do it just like I practiced. What are you you auditioning for?

I had an audition and everyone was either singing the song over and over or reading the monolgue again and again. I listened to the jonas brothers on my ipod. it helps to not think about it as long as you're prepared. Of course, if you're not, then you might wanna just practice.

be sure to drink a glass of water (but not so much that it'll make you pee ;-) )

the best thing to do is to train yourself to look at the opportunity as a chance to have fun by playing which is what acting is all about, playing and having fun, even in the serious plays and films. Have you ever seen outtakes from anything? The actors are laughing and having the best time. they are doing that when they are acting too, and so should you, so just before you go on, say to yourself, "here I go to play and have fun." Then take your place with energy and enthusiasm.

Well loosen up your face. Blow through your lips. Do little face big face( make a big face and then make a small face).
