Memorizing band scales(12)?

Question:I need tricks to memorizing scales. I play the trombone and i have to memorize the 12 major scales by the begining of December. I have a lot of trouble with scale memorization, but i can memorize pretty much any other music. Any ideas?!

Here's the easiest way I do it... Learn the key signatures. You know the order of the notes in each scale... C- CDEFGABC... and so on. If it's Bb, know there are two flats (Bb and Eb) and just put them in there. Do that with every scale and practice and warm up with them any time you play. You will never forget them. It becomes second nature to you!
