Position:Home>Theater & Acting> Main floor or balcony level: Which has the best view of the stage?

Question:My husband and I are going to see The Lion King musical for our Anniversary/Christmas present. What seats would be the best? Main floor or balcony?

* The main floor seats are in the center row of the last section of the theater. (farthest back from the stage)

* The balcony level seats are in the second row, center.

The main floor tickets are more expensive. Which ones would give the best visibility of the stage?

I know that that theater has both a balcony and a mezzanine. I f you mean Mezzanine, then deffinitely the mezzanine seats. If you actually mean balcony, then go with the last row floor seats-balcony is VERY high. people look like ants. From the last row, the mezz will cut off the top of the stage, but it will be worth it being able to see the peoples faces almost a little cleraly (last row is really far back, but not as far back as balcony-no matter what row you are in)

2nd row mezz is definetly a better view than last row orch. Trust me I've been there.

I think the main floor tickets will have the better view

It really depends on the layout of the theater. If the floors are slanted enough, then the back row might not be a bad view. I personally would go with the balcony/mezzanine level if it's the second row from the front. I'm pretty sure with a fair amount of theaters, that'd be farther out than part of the back section of the main floor.
