Audition dress?

Question:So I have our school's musical auditions tomorrow and he said not to dress to casual. What should I wear?

Wear something that will allow you to move, yet still looks nice.

whatever you find comfortable whether jeans or dress but make sure there's no chance of wardrobe malfunction, hehehe

Dress for movement-

Make sure you can comfortably move, including pschycological comfort, ie: not being worried about undewear showing etc.

I suggest a leotard or bike tights underneath your dress.

A skirt with shorts under it in case you have to do some kind of dancing involving the legs and a cute top. No jewerly it'll just get in the way when you dance. Also wear flats. No heels, just some cute, comfy flat shoes. put your hair up if you think it'll get in the way when you dance/sing

You should wear something noce, like a dress or something, but it should be comfortable to walk in, dance in, and makes you feel good when you sing, like your worth a million bucks!

something that you can move around in and it feels comfortable. Why not add a few sparkles!? lol go for glam and comfort!

well are you familiar w/ the play? if so then wear something like the person your trying out for would wear.
if you dont then just wear a dress thes easy to move in. i would say somthing thats more form fitting in the top but lose on the bottom.
good luck! and remember that the directors always will remember someone in a costume or someone who doesnt look like all the other people trying out...

try some black slacks, low heels,and a nice blouse

Wear something that is easy to move in, comfy, but still elegant looking. Since it is getting kinda cold, at least where i am, i'd recommend something not really short and with sleeves. So maybe those nice black capris that are flowly and easy to move in. I hope you know what I'm talking about. With a nice top. Or an easy to move in dress.

If acting is involved I would try to dress in character (if possible) other wise wear anything that give you confidence!
