Position:Home>Theater & Acting> Where can I find a monologue?

Question:Hi there guys! I am supposed to go for an audition for a Drama course on 19 November, and I am supposed to memorise a monologue from a famous play which I will present on that day. The problem is that I don`t know where to start. I have never done a monologue in my life and I don`t know how to identify one in a play.
Please help guys!

Go to this page link and look at numbers 9 and 10. That should give a lot of great information about auditioning and specifically for monologues. You'll be pleased when you see it! http://www.actingcareerstartup.com/teen_...

Good luck!

If you need more help, just contact your local librarian.
Many library web sites have a link where you can chat online with a librarian 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

Go to many different search engines (google, yahoo search) and type in what you're looking for. You will be surprised.

BTW, many famous plays are by Shakespeare (just a heads up).
