Acting in Houston???

Question:I'm 12 years old i live in Houston, Texas i'm 5'2 90 pounds hispanic and italian. I love acting i take acting classes but i haven't got far. so does anyone know a directer or producer or some place where i could go to bacome a famous actress. I will work my butt off and i'm very dedicated. So please leave a good answer not a fake place or anything. thanks!!!

Your height and weight are immaterial, so I don't know why you listed them as acting qualifications. You are indeed very young. Anyway, if you are taking acting classes, that means you have your parents' support in this, which is very important and puts you ahead of a lot of young people who want to become actors. Be grateful. Because you absolutely cannot do anything without your parents' permission at your age. You're not old enough to sign a contract or drive.

Houston is a big place and there are plenty of opportunities for you to "get further". This also makes you luckier than most kids your age, who live in small towns where absolutely nothing is going on theatrically. Some of the places at the link below offer children's theatre, and some offer lessons.

There is probably also some modeling or commercial work to be had in Houston (though not nearly as much as in New York or Los Angeles). For those jobs, you will need an agent in order to even audition. Perhaps your acting teacher can give you the name of an agent or agency. But you must have experience before they'll take you on. well there are cliniques or get involved with school acting and theator!! Country play house is a good place to go too!!!! The main street theator is also a great place to go they are puting on les mesirables and stuff like that!!! Hope theses answers help!!!!!!
