Question: Any comments on a dog's tail, I mean tale!?
Everything I know about life,
I learned from my dogs!.!.!.!.

to awaken when my stomach rumbles
and not a minute before!.!.!.!.

to have no expectations of anyone
but to do a happy dance when a crumb comes my way!.!.!.!.

to protect the one I love with
all that is in me and more!.!.!.!.

to know that a touch is more than a touch,
it is what defines my life!.!.!.!.

and last, but by no means least,

to look into another's eyes when
they have no words to speak!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

How lovely!. The have so much to teach us, don't they!?
Fiercely loyal, ferociously loving and a an unparalleled companion!. What more could you ask for!?
And the least we can do (apart from love them back) is to immortalize them in beautiful poetry, as you've done!. *star*Www@QuestionHome@Com

sniffle! Take one more lesson from your dogs--stretch before lying down and getting up to keep from hurting your back! <giggles> a physical therapist told me that!

Everything I learned in life
I learned from falling down!.!.!.

Uh oh!.!.!. feel some words coming on!.!.!.!.

Everything I know about life,
I learned from falling down

And who was there beside me then
None other than my canine friend

He nudged me gently tickling me
As with his tongue, went and licked me

When I was sitting head in hands
He’d rest his head upon my lap

Wordlessly he let me know
I’d be okWww@QuestionHome@Com

Sounds a lot like me, is that why my ex treated me like a dog!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, and to love intensely and unconditionally!.!.!.
there is no greater friend than your dog!.

My old dog died a few years back of cancer of the spinal column!. Over the last couple of months of her life she was unable to wag her tail (which had been pretty much a constant prior to that), but she was a master of facial expressions!. Those who do not know frequently underestimate the capacity of dogs to love and to understand!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
