Question: Help on a poem!? ten Easy points !?
can any one help me find a metaphor or a simile on this poem !?

Fire on Your Finger

Fire on your finger,
Fire in your eye,
Fire in your spirit,
Fire that won’t die!.

Fire in the bare bones of being,
Fire to uphold what’s right,
Fire in the heart of darkness,
Fire to fuel Love’s light!.

Fire to burn but not consume,
Fire to learn and not assume,
Fire to live and give living room,
Fire to love and sing her tune!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I cannot see any comparison!. There's the possibility that the whole thing is an allegory relating "Fire" with other aspects of life!. Of course, the definition of fire probably wouldn't be literal here!.

If I had to say, I'd say that fire is a metaphor for a wedding band!. It's on your finger, it fuels "love's light," it creates light in darkness, it allows one to be nicer and to "live" and "love" and so on!.
I'm not sure why fire would be the thing used to symbolize a ring, though!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Metaphor is comparing two or more things without using the words 'like' or 'as' while simile is comparing two or more words by using 'like' or 'as'!.
As you can see, the metaphor in your poem is the sentence "fire to fuel Love's light" and I don't think there's any simile terms in your beautiful written poem!. I hoped I have help you in any way!. Good day and God bless!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
