Question: Help me critique my poem!?
red rivers flow!.
compulsive habits persist!.
always abiding, to feel relief!.
momentary consolation
leaves marks for days
scars for years!.
strive to keep unseen
suspicions unravel
calling for creative lies!.
as this ritual comes to its closing,
red rivers run dry!.
but only for now!.

To me my point comes across obvious, but what do you think this poem is about!?

Am i being clear enough!?

I want to make a statement without clearly stating it, if you know what i mean!.

How can i make it better!?

Any tips would be helpful:]Www@QuestionHome@Com

to me it sounds like its a poem about cutting, as a form of relief and also out of habit and then the person gets caught and has to come up with excuses and stops for awhile, but only a while!.
if im right then i think you did a good job at being clear!. i like the poem, maybe work on the punctuation!. but i think the emotion in the poem is really good!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
